Q: What is Joomla?

Joomla! is an open source content management system (CMS) application that allows designers and developers to build powerful online applications. There are many other types of CMS platforms but we chose Joomla! because of it's ease of use for our clients. We like building applications that are easy for our clients to use.

Q: What is "Custom Enhanced Joomla!" by Invectra Studios?

Basically, we felt that Joomla! by itself wasn't enough for our clients so our in house applications developer built some customizations to go with the core of Joomla! that you can't find (or buy) anywhere else. By putting in custom programmed modules/features, we can effectively give our clients the most "bang for their buck."

Q: What are these "custom programmed features?"

Q: Joomla! runs on a database. How does that help my website?

By having your website content running in a database, information can be pulled from the database in various ways allowing for features such as content searching, grouping of data, and more. Database driven websites are dynamic and they allow your website to grow as your business grows. Even better, after a few years and you are sick of looking at the same design, we can change your look without having to re-create a whole new website.

Q: Everybody else is using Drupal for CMS. Why are you using Joomla!?
